Dr Chengxin Pan

Dr Chengxin Pan is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Australia-China Relations Institute, University of Technology Sydney.

He is also an Associate Professor of Political Science at the Department of Government and Public Administration at the University of Macau, an Honorary Associate Professor in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at Deakin University, and a co-editor of the Global Political Sociology book series (Palgrave Macmillan). He is the author of Knowledge, Desire and Power in Global Politics: Western Representations of China’s Rise (Edward Elgar, 2012), and a co-editor of China's Rise and Rethinking International Relations Theory (Bristol University Press, 2022). He has published in many international journals such as European Journal of International RelationsMillennium: Journal of International Studies, Review of International StudiesThe Pacific ReviewInternational Relations of the Asia-PacificJournal of Contemporary China, Australian Journal of International Affairs, and Australian Journal of Politics and History.
